(Aimé, Amado o Amadeo Jacques Alexandre Bonpland; La Rochelle, 1773 - Santa Ana, 1858) Naturalista francés. Miembro de la expedición científica que acompañó a Humboldt a América del Sur, recogió en varios volúmenes los resultados de dicho viaje. Destaca su obra Viaje a las regiones equinocciales del nuevo continente (1813 y 1815)
